Welcome to Rejoice Lutheran Church!
Pastor Lou Quetel and the Rejoice family warmly invite adults and children of all faith levels and backgrounds to become involved in this active Christian community, which is part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
Contemporary worship services, filled with upbeat music and faith-based messages, take place every Sunday at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Children ages 3 years and younger are welcome to attend services with you or be cared for by our loving nursery staff, while children in preschool through 5th grade are invited to Kids for Christ, our Sunday school program that occurs during part of the worship service.
Rejoice offers a variety of ways to enjoy fellowship within our congregation and to minister to others in the larger community. Ministry opportunities range from serving at or providing food and supplies for the Hesed House homeless shelter in Aurora to knitting prayer shawls, which are given to those in special need of comfort. Rejoice’s Care Team offers individualized support in times of need or crisis. Small groups include Bible study and support groups, as well as social-based activities, which include monthly fellowship groups and special events, such as golf outings and retreats. And if you're gifted with musical talent, Rejoice's worship ensemble would love to hear from you.
Families will enjoy Rejoice's extensive youth programming, which offers children different ways to learn about Christ in exciting, creative ministries tailored to their grade level. Rejoice is a place that gives people of all ages many opportunities to grow in their faith, while being supported by one another.
Membership classes are held twice a year in the spring and fall. Formal membership is not necessary, however, to be actively involved at Rejoice.
