“Shining the Light” Adult Loss Survivor Support Group
Following our public forum on anxiety, depression and suicide in February, Rejoice remains committed to serving our community and keeping the discussion open on suicide by offering an Adult Loss Survivor Support Group.
If you have been affected by suicide of a friend or loved one and would like a supportive, informative and non-judgmental environment to share your story as part of the healing/rebuilding process, we hope you’ll consider joining us for our initial six week small group discussion at Rejoice the first and third Wednesday of the month beginning June 7th from 7-8:30PM. Our small group will be facilitated by Mary Brosche and Jeff Graber and will be held in our Community Room downstairs.
Rejoice’s goal is to reduce the stigma of suicide by providing a confidential setting that recognizes and respects the courage and resilience of suicide survivors at all stages of their personal journeys and foster an environment of hope and peace. Adults of all faiths, or no faith, are invited to be a part of this new group where survivors of loss can come together and talk openly with others who have shared a similar experience. No matter where you are in your personal journey, you’ll find understanding, encouragement and support. This open dialogue is not a therapy group nor is the group designed to replace therapy or interfere with medical treatment being received by participants.
In order to get this small group started and be effective, we need a minimum of six people to attend. Attending Rejoice’s Feb 25th public forum is not a pre-requisite for attending. To register, please fill out our confidential form below.
