Prayer Shawl Ministry

Knitting and crocheting into the Mystery of God's healing love and peace, we make prayer shawls that are prayed over while fellowship is enjoyed. All shawls are blessed by our pastor before being presented to persons in need of God's healing love and comfort or to celebrate a special life event. Novices are welcome to join the fellowship and learn from more experienced knitters and crocheters. 

The Prayer Shawl Ministry group meets one Sunday a month from September through May (school year) at Rejoice after the second service for knitting, crocheting, fellowship and a soup lunch.  Check the church calendar for the next prayer shawl meeting and join us! 

Finished shawls are on display in the sanctuary. If you would like to give a shawl to someone in need, please complete the sign-out book below the display.
