The Rejoice Care Team provides meals and other compassionate assistance to individuals and families in times of special need, such as the birth of a baby, illness or bereavement. Requests for necessary services are handled on an as needed basis. If you or someone you know could benefit from these services, please contact the church office at 630-262-0596.
The Care Team invites those who can be of assistance to others to sign up to be ready to provide help when needed. If you’re willing to cook dinners, write cards or make hospital visits, please let the Care Team know how you could help.
If you would like more information about assisting the Care Team, or if you or someone you know is in need of care, please complete this form.
Care Team & Support Resources
Take One – Give One. Check out the literature racks in the narthex for Care Notes – small booklets offering strength, help and healing for those who are hurting.
Featuring topics dealing with stress, illness, grief and loss, these booklets are available to anyone who would like supportive and easy-to-read guidance and support.
Two topics will be available each month – please feel free to take one for yourself or for a loved one.
They are located in the rack near the staircase. Questions? Contact Care Team Coordinator.

Have you ever sat in church with a heavy heart, in need of prayer? Perhaps you came with a particular burden or something you heard in the message or music moved your heart? Rejoice is blessed to have a ministry of devoted prayer warriors to pray over all who are in need of prayer. There are a few ways to request prayer:
After worship each Sunday, Prayer Ministers will be available to pray with all who are in need of a special word of prayer. Just look for the Prayer Minister name tags at the front of the sanctuary!
Or, if you prefer, you can fill out a Prayer Request Card on the table in the entryway of the church and put it in the box, and our Prayer Team will lift you up in prayer that week.
Prayer request submissions, as well as the identities of submitters, are held in strict confidence. Prayer requests are only printed on the Connections page, which appears in the Sunday worship bulletin, with the permission of the submitter.
Click here if you would like to submit a prayer request to our prayer team online.
Members of Rejoice’s Prayer Shawl Ministry knit and crochet Prayer Shawls for anyone who might need one. Finished shawls are on display in the sanctuary. If you would like to give a shawl to someone in need, please complete the sign-out book below the display.
