theLOVEproject is our annual summer mission project for students grades 8 through 12. For information about our 2015 trip, please click here.
It is designed to make an impact on the lives of the needy by spreading compassion and justice where it is needed. theLOVEproject is for students who want to partner with God in the mission of bringing hope to people who desperately need it. Through the work of Jesus Christ, God has done something incredible in each of us. It is from that saving grace that God’s compassion flows out of us and directly into the lives of the people we serve; from the inside out.
Our student missionaries have opportunities for connecting throughout the year as a team. There are many opportunities to procure financial aid through the annual Rejoice Revue/Silent Auction, Easter Breakfast Fundraiser, car washes and more. The trip is led by a specially recruited team of adults and select student leaders who plan the logistics of the mission, and disciple students during the experience. These trips are life-changing for all who are involved and are among the most important aspects of the student ministry at Rejoice.
Past summer mission trips have included building homes in Mexico, serving the homeless in Philadelphia & Nashville, and rebuilding homes devastated by Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans and Hurricane Sandy in New Jersey.
