High School

Summit for High Schoolers

"Equipping students for the lifelong journey of following Jesus Christ"  

Summit is a student ministry of Rejoice Lutheran Church for high school students grades 9-12.  Our focus is to seek to understand who God is, what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ and what we can do to partner with God in caring for the people He loves. Summit exists to connect high school students to God's story of saving the world through His son Jesus, to help them grow in their personal relationship with God and to live their lives as a follower of Jesus.  Click on the left to read more about our Summit programs.  If you would like to register a student, please click here to go to our Summit registration page. 

The Summit program runs September through May every Thursday evening from 7:00-8:00 pm and meets in a very laid back living-room style youth room.  To supplement our mission, Summit staff lead students on weekend retreats and a week-long summer mission trip, which jumpstart spiritual growth, give students a dynamic, powerful God experience, and allow the opportunity to serve in God's name.  Our Summit students often become leaders of the Jr. High ministry, Matrix, and fuel the leadership team of that program.
