Kids for Christ: Sunday School with a New Format
Kids for Christ is for children in preschool through 5th grade and is held during
both church services on Sunday mornings. Kids will begin worship with their parents in the sanctuary and will all be brought downstairs for fun, interactive learning! The children will be brought upstairs in time to receive communion.
Our prayer for Kids for Christ is simple: 1) We want your child to love reading and learning about the Bible! 2)We want to challenge your children to share their faith during the week!
We encourage your children to bring their Bibles with them to church every Sunday and to listen to the challenges presented to them to give them ideas of how to share their faith at home, at school and in their communities.
Mid-week Children's Christian Education Classes for 1st-5th Graders
Meet on Tuesdays, 6:00–7:15 pm, October-April
1st Grade: Jesus Seekers
This class helps 1st graders ask the question, "Can you see Jesus in me?" They learn Bible stories and seek out how to be like Jesus every day!
2nd Grade: Grounded! in Christ
This class teaches 2nd graders the great foundational truths that will become the rock they will be "grounded" on as they grow as young Christians.
3rd Grade: Prayer Pack
The goal of Prayer Pack is to give 3rd graders a passion for prayer, so they can grow their hearts for Jesus! They learn what prayer is and many different ways to pray.
4th Grade: Navigators
What is the Bible all about? Who wrote the books of the Bible and when did the stories
happen? Navigators learn all of this and most importantly, to love God's Word!
5th Grade: Justice League
This active class learns what it means to serve the world in the name of Christ. Our goal is to develop hearts of compassion for victims of injustice.
God’s Girls: For Girls in Grades 3-5
Meets the 4th Tuesday of the month. Girls learn how to aspire to be godly women of faith and character. Girls learn to love who they are -- made in the image of Christ! -- and to become empowered to grow in His holiness.
